Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance Application Steps
- Complete a Parent's Financial Statement (PFS) and send it to the School and Student Service (SSS) for Financial Aid in Princeton, New Jersey by February 15, 2013.
- Submit a copy of your 2012 federal tax form 1040, with all schedules, and W-2 statement along with a copy of the PFS form to the Admissions Office by March 15, 2013. To insure a fair and accurate determination of financial need, both parents, regardless of marital status, are required to provide financial information. All information is confidential and will not be used for anything other than determining financial need.
- In cases of divorce or separation, both parents are required to provide financial information. The parent with whom the child normally lives files the standard PFS with SSS, while the non-custodial parent files a separate form called the Financial Statement for Parents who are Separated or Divorced or Have Never Been Married. This form, along with tax returns and schedules, is sent to the school.
Financial need is determined by the difference between the tuition charged and the family's ability to pay, using tax returns and the School and Student Service for Financial Aid Parent Financial Statement. Families are encouraged to speak with Kim Schmucki for more information.
